Consul General Enrico Padula mentioned that in January 2025, within the framework of the Forum of Friendly and Cooperative Cities - Da Nang 2025, Da Nang and Genova (Italy) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish friendly and cooperative relations. This marks an important first step in promoting exchange and expanding cooperation between the people of both countries as well as between Italian localities and Da Nang.
Additionally, the Italian Expo Da Nang 2025 is planned to be held in November 2025, along with cultural exchange activities between Da Nang and Italy, which will serve as a foundation for expanding cooperation and attracting investment in trade and services. The Consul General expressed his hope for the city leadership's support and facilitation to ensure the success of the exhibition.
Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, affirmed that Da Nang is ready to provide support in terms of venue and necessary procedures to ensure the success of the Italian Expo Da Nang 2025. He expressed hope for more exchange and cooperation activities in the future.
