Consuls general of countries in Da Nang visits and wish Tet
The Consuls General of China, Laos, Russia, Japan and Korea visited and wished a happy Lunar New Year Ất Tỵ 2025 in Da Nang, expressed New Year's greetings, recognized the city's socio-economic achievements in the past year and hoped to strengthen cooperation in many fields. On this occasion, the parties emphasized the significance of the milestones commemorating diplomatic relations, affirming their commitment to promoting cultural exchanges, expanding economic cooperation and developing fields such as education, high technology, IT and industry.

The Da Nang city delegation visit and work with organizations, institutions, and financial investment funds in Switzerland
On the morning of January 20, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh and his delegation worked with organizations and financial investment funds in Switzerland. At Sygnum Bank, the Chairman shared about legal issues related to cryptographic assets, information technology infrastructure and investment opportunities in the free trade zone and financial center of Da Nang.
The Chairman also emphasized the development of the Da Nang international financial center, including policy development, financial ecosystem development, human resource training and infrastructure investment, especially for the digital infrastructure.
On this occasion, the City People's Committee signed a memorandum of understanding with Concessor AG Company. General Director Philipp Rosler pledged to support and bring European and Swiss investors to research investment opportunities in Da Nang.

On the afternoon of January 20, Permanent Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh visited and wished a Happy Lunar New Year 2025 to foreign consulates in the city.
At the Consulate General of Korea, the Vice President sent New Year greetings to Consul General Kang Boo Sung and all staffs, also wished to strengthen cultural exchanges and promote tourism between Da Nang and Korea.
At the Chinese Consulate General, the Vice President also sent New Year wishes to Consul General Dong Bich Du, expressing his wish that the consulate continues to play as a bridge to attract Chinese businesses and investors to Da Nang. Ms. Dong Bich Du affirmed that she would make efforts to promote cooperation and tighten the friendship between the two countries.

At a meeting with Mayor of Cluj Napoca City, Romania Emil Boc and the delegation on the morning of January 20, Permanent Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said that Da Nang has expanded the map of international cooperation with 50 localities in 24 countries and territories. Currently, the city has just established relations with Timisoara (Romania), originating from the visit of the Mayor of Timisoara to Da Nang in 2009.

Dragon bridge's water and fire spraying schedule and Han River bridge rotation operation to serve at New Year Ất Tỵ
According to document No. 499/UBND-SGTVT of the City People's Committee, the organization of water and fire spraying on the Dragon Bridge will be on the nights of January 24, 2025, to February 2, 2025; during that time, on the night of January 28, 2025, Dragon Bridge will only spray water at 24:00.
