The Quan The Am Festival of Ngu Hanh Son in Da Nang will be held from March 16 to 19, 2025 (corresponding to the 17th to 20th days of the second lunar month). This four-day event will take place at the Quan The Am Pagoda complex and surrounding streets.
The festival comprises ceremonial activities and festive activities. The ceremonial components include commemoration of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and various religious rituals and spiritual practices. The festive components comprise cultural and artistic performances, sports events, seminars and panel discussions.
The Quan The Am Festival of Ngu Hanh Son 2025 serves as a celebration of its status as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, highlighting the Marble Mountains' significance as a Special National Monument, supporting the "Preservation and Promotion of National Cultural Heritage in Da Nang (2021-2025)" project, and providing an immersive experience for both local residents and tourists. The event aims to honor traditional values while fostering cultural engagement and tourism in the region.
